The Fellows
There are two WOCEC fellowship options: District fellows and principal fellows. Applications for the 2025 cohorts of both groups are currently not open. We will let you know when that changes. Thank you!
National Aspiring District Leader fellows:
This five-month program identifies a cohort of school principals and provides them with executive coaching and professional development. The program aims to foster further leadership skills, develop a robust network of women leaders, and empower this new group to lead and innovate. Professional development and coaching will focus on self-care, district and board relations, budgeting and resource allocation, conflict management, and communications. This program has five virtual meetings, and the cost for it is $799.
At the moment this fellowship is not open to new applicants.
If you are from a school district or CMO and wish to have a cohort of principal fellows, please send an email to Stephanie Wood-Garnett, swoodgarnett@wocedcollaborative.org.
District fellows:
This nine-month fellowship identifies a cohort of district-level leaders and, like the principal fellow program, provides them with professional development and executive coaching, including a powerful face-to-face convening and graduation ceremony. District fellows are provided with an executive coach who will address issues tailored to their specific needs, will help each fellow master the essential skills needed to excel at the highest levels of leadership, and, with help from the WOCEC’s health and wellness coach, will ensure each fellow can thrive in demanding roles and responsibilities while striving to achieve a healthy work-life balance through the utilization of positive self-care strategies. This program is conducted virtually and face to face, and the cost for it is $7000.
At the moment, we have paused the district fellows program; we will be in touch when it restarts. Thank you for your understanding.
Both fellowships persevere to create a diverse and thriving network of women leaders by providing leadership development programs to enhance executive skills, build robust connections among members, and provide self-care and wellness strategies while serving in demanding positions.
