Dr. Danita Ishibashi, with over three decades of experience in charter and public education, has dedicated 15 years to district level leadership, driving academic excellence in high-needs districts. She has been a teacher, assistant principal, and principal prior to becoming an assistant superintendent. Dr. Ishibashi has extensive experience in curricula development, culturally responsive pedagogy, leadership coaching, human resources, and fiscal management. She is also actively involved in leadership development coaching, is an adjunct professor at the College of New Jersey’s Graduate School of Education, and contributes to key educational initiatives within New Jersey, such as serving on the New Jersey Principal and Supervisor Association’s Leadership Academy steering committee and on the Equity in Action Leadership Academy of the Foundation for Educational Administration.
